Candy Lab wins Augmented Reality Court Battle

Candy Lab AR challenged unconstitutional regulations that blocked developers working on location-based augmented reality in 2017.  With a legal team led by Brian Wassom, Candy Lab AR took the case to court and WON.

Founder Andrew Couch sought legal action against Milwaukee County that would have required extensive permits and reporting requirements for location-based apps in their county limits.  This would have set a dangerous precedent for other cities and states in the US that would have essentially destroyed the nascent AR industry at the time.

Candy Lab and Andrew know how essential it is for today and tomorrow's developers that they have the freedom they need to create interactive mobile apps in ANY city or jurisdiction in the United States.  We continue to fight for the rights of developers and new technology, and will always stand up for this tech community.
